Manchester United have come out of nowhere to hijack the transfer of Tyrell Malacia, a 22-year-old Dutch left back. Malacia has been playing for Feyenoord in the Eredivisie, and averaged a 7.09 rating in the league according to SofaScore.

The Original Deal

Tyrell Malacia looked on his way to Olympique Lyonnais (OL) in France, where they had a verbal agreement with Feyenoord for his transfer. The agreement was €12m plus €3m add-ons according to Fabrizio.

The Steal

Manchester United snuck into the race and managed to make things happen quick, with Tyrell Malacia having the same agent as Frenkie De Jong, who Manchester United are still currently in talks with. This allowed for United to sneak into the deal, and are now waiting for the players decision on where he wants to go.

The New Deal

Manchester United and Feyenoord agreed a €15m plus €2m add ons fee according to Fabrizio.

“The agreement with Man United is there. We are now waiting for Tyrell”

Bonus

Manchester United are progressing well in talks with Barcelona for Frenkie De Jong, with a fee being close to agreement, and then personal terms and medical would be pending. the fee can range anywhere from €60m to €85m with add ons.
