NHL, Toronto Maple Leafs, Nick Robertson

The Toronto Maple Leafs have been one of the most exciting teams in the NHL in recent times. They’ve got a lot of great young talent, and they’re putting it all together on the ice. However, they need to find that fire and consistency to get out of the first round. That’s where Nick Robertson could come into play: He’s a talented player with tons of potential who should be able to contribute right away if he makes the roster this season.

Robertson, a 21 year old winger who has struggled with injuries in his short career so far, he played 10 games in the NHL last season and only had 1 point. The AHL was a different story, he only played in 28 games, but he did put up 28 points.

The 2019 second round pick has shown up big time in pre-season this year, he had 3 goals and 3 assists in 3 games, and he looks comfortable and confident out there on the ice, but he is also showing passion and strive to get another chance in the NHL with the Leafs. He’s producing, jumping right into puck battles, and looks ready, hopefully he snaps his streak of bad injury luck and can produce in the NHL this season.
