Shane Wright has had a rollercoaster rookie season, he’s been scratched plenty, sent down to the AHL, recalled back up to the NHL and now he’s being sent away again.
It looks like the Seattle Kraken only wanted to bring Shane Wright back for one game, and of course it was against the Montreal Canadiens, who passed up on Shane Wright at #1 overall in this years NHL draft. Shane Wright gave the Montreal table a stare down at the draft when he was selected at #4 by Seattle.
Well in the game against Montreal, Wright scored his first ever NHL goal, it’s like it was scripted from the start, crazy how some things align.
Shane Wright was brought up from the AHL right before this game, he had a 5 game stint in the AHL where he scored 4 goals.
Now it is being reported that Shane Wright is expected to head to team Canada today.
Shane Wright is expected to report to Moncton and team Canada tomorrow.
