It is confirmed that Arsenal will buy Gabriel Jesus from Manchester City for a reported fee of $55 million. With Manchester City signing the likes of Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund and Julián Álvarez from River Plate, Jesus would have fallen out of the starting 11. At Arsenal, he will likely slot into the front line where he will try to have another successful season following a 2021/2022 campaign where he totaled 13 goals and 12 assists. Jesus will look to help Arsenal finish top 4 in the premier league for the first time since the 2015/2016 season.

6 years ago, Juventus sold Pogba to Manchester United for €100m. Now he is back for free… again. This is the second time Pogba has joined the Italian giants for free from Manchester United. Following an underwhelming last few years with the reds, Pogba hopes to reignite his career in Turin. Pogba had a successful first spell with the club where he totaled 34 goals and 40 assists in 178 matches in four years. After winning the Series A title 9 years in a row earlier in the decade, Juventus have not finished in the top 3 in the last 2 seasons. Pogba hopes to bring Juventus back to the top of Italian football.

Gareth Bale has officially agreed to a one-year deal with MLS club LAFC. The former Real Madrid and Tottenham star is looking for a new challenge after years of success in Europe. Bale won five champions league titles and three La Liga titles with Real Madrid, scoring 106 goals for the club. He is set to join Giorgio Chiellini who is also joining the club this summer. LAFC currently sits in first place in the MLS midway through the season. Can Bale and Chiellini propel them to their first ever MLS title?

Lukaku Edges Closer to Inter

Following a disappointing first season back at Chelsea, Romelu Lukaku is set to return to Milan this week to complete a loan move to Inter. After scoring 47 goals and having 13 assists in his last two years with Inter Milan in Serie A play, Lukaku only managed 8 goals with no assists in the Premier League this past season. With a move back to Inter, Lukaku hopes to find his rhythm and continue to build upon the success he had in 2019 and 2020, where he won the Serie A.

As the summer transfer window gets underway there will be plenty more players on the move.
