In a highly anticipated event for hockey fans, Luke Hughes is set to make his NHL debut on Tuesday for the New Jersey Devils against the Buffalo Sabres. The talented defenseman, drafted 4th overall by the Devils in the 2021 draft, has joined the team after completing his season with the University of Michigan.

During his two-year stint at Michigan, Luke Hughes showcased his remarkable abilities on the ice. In his most recent season, he scored 10 goals and contributed 38 assists for a total of 48 points in 39 games. In his first season, he tallied 17 goals and 22 assists, accumulating 39 points in 41 games played. Luke also captained the USA U20 team at the World Junior Championships, notching an impressive 5 points in 7 games.
