In his second NHL game with the New Jersey Devils, Luke Hughes has picked up his official first NHL point.
The point came on a secondary assist, where he fed the puck to Sharangovich who slid it up to Haula who ripped a clapper into the back of the net.

It’s nothing special but a point is a point, and it’s certainly a weight off his shoulders to get on the scoresheet in just his second NHL game.
But later in the game Luke got his first NHL goal, literally happened as I was writing this, scoring the game winner in overtime as the Devils came back in the final game of the regular season.

A great goal from Luke who’s had himself a solid night and hopes to crack the line up come playoff time!
