The Minnesota Wild have found a star in forward Kirill Kaprizov. In just his third season with the team, Kaprizov has become the fastest player in Minnesota Wild history to reach 200 points.

Kaprizov achieved this impressive feat in just 168 games played, besting the previous record held by Marian Gaborik, who reached 200 points in 290 games played for the Wild.. Kaprizov’s impressive speed and skill on the ice have helped him rack up an impressive 93 goals and 108 assists for a total of 201 points.

In a recent game against the Ottawa Senators, Kaprizov scored 1 goal and had 2 assists, bringing him to this historic milestone. His strong performance on the ice has not gone unnoticed, as he has become the fifth fastest left wing in NHL history to reach 200 points.

Compared to some of the greats in the 21st century, Kaprizov reached 200 points only 1 game slower than Evgeni Malkin, and only 2 games slower than Alex Ovechkin. Sidney Crosby was the runaway star on the way to 200 points, doing it in just 142 games.

Kaprizov’s impressive speed and scoring ability have made him a valuable asset for the Minnesota Wild and a fan favorite. His talent and hard work on the ice have undoubtedly played a major role in his quick rise to this impressive milestone.

The 25 year old Winger was drafted in the 5th round of the 2015 draft, but didn’t make his NHL debut till 2020 as he was playing for CSKA Moscow and other clubs in the KHL from 2014-2020, where he almost averaged a point per game.

It will be exciting to see what the future holds for Kirill Kaprizov and the Minnesota Wild as he continues to make his mark on the NHL.
