Dallas Stars forward Jason Robertson somehow stays under the radar of the media, but he is currently one of the best players in the NHL, and has been for almost his entire career.
Last game, Jason Robertson scored his 20th, 21st, and 22nd goal of the season, leading the entire league in goal scoring, but that’s not the only thing.
If you look at the entire calendar year of 2022, which includes the back half of the 2021-2022 season, as well as this season up to where we are now, Jason Robertson leads the entire league in goals over that span.
He scored his 53rd goal of the Calendar year, which passed Auston Matthews who is currently sitting at 52 goals on the Calendar year.

The 23 year old has 39 points in just 24 games this season, he sits on 164 career points in 152 career games.
The 2017 second round pick also sits second in points in the league this season, 4 behind Connor McDavid who had 43 points.
This guy is putting up similar numbers to Leon Draisaitl, Auston Matthews, Nathan MacKinnon, and many other players that are considered the biggest stars.
At what point does Jason Robertson get that sort of coverage and respect as one of the leagues best?
