The first game we are going to look at is the Trail Blazers against the Wizards in Washington. Neither team played last night so we are going to get two rested squads. 11th in the west vs 9th in the east, two teams trying to make a playoff push, should be a close, hard fought battle between these two teams. The Blazers are 14th in the league for average points scored, and are 16th for average points against. the Wizards are 20th for points for and 14th for points against. These two teams are in a very similar statistically position for how many points they score and how many points they give up. The Trail Blazers have been pretty good at covering the spread in games this season, covering the spread 53% of the time.

The next game we are going to look at is the Magic against the Timberwolves in Minnesota. Two more teams that did not play last night, the Magic 13th in the East and the Wolves are 6th in the West. While the Timberwolves may be heavy favorites, the Magic have been very good at covering the spread this season, almost 60% of games they have covered the spread. The Timberwolves have not been anything special defensively this season, which will certainly allow the Magic to stay in the game.

The third game we are going to look at is the Hawks against the Jazz in Utah. 8th in the east vs 8th in the west. The combined average points per game between the two teams is 234.7. Both teams need points to try and stay in their playoff position, so expect and low risk high defense style of game.
