Thursday night has 7 different match ups being played in the NBA as we continue to build up towards play-offs in a couple of months.
The first game we are going to look at is the Heat against the Knicks in New York. A battle of 6th vs 7th int he Eastern Conference, it’s certainly a close match up. The Heat have struggled offensively all year, currently ranked 30th in points for, but defensively they have been amazing, being ranked 2nd in the league for least points against per game. The Knicks are fairly middle of the pack in both categories, 14th in points for and 12th in least points against. In the last 5 games between these two team, the Heat have won 3 times. Jimmy Butler loves a game against the Knicks, scoring 23+ points in 4 of his last 5 games against the Knicks.
BookieMonster’s pick of the game: Heat -1.5
The second game we will look at is Is the Pelicans against the Mavericks in Dallas. The Mavs sit 5th in the West while the Pelicans sit in 10th. The Pelicans are plummeting, losing every single one of their last NINE games. The Mavs are a solid defensive team, ranked 7th in least average points against. A strong defense going up against a struggling team should only go one way. The Pelicans are 12th in points for, 15th in least average points against, middle of the pack numbers and currently just not on good form.
BookieMonster’s pick of the game: Mavericks -4.5
ADDED BONUS PICKS: Clippers +4.5 & Clippers ML (.5U)
