After a brief training camp holdout DK Metcalf got his new contract. He inked a 3 year, $72 Million Dollar deal with the Seahawks.
He finihsed last season with 75 catches for 967 yards and 12 touchdowns. He will face a downgrade at QB this year no matter who is under center for the Seahawks so it should be interesting to see what kind of numbers he can put up this year.
Metcalf had the 7th highest share of his teams air yards at 36.71%. He will still get his deep targets with his new signal callers it just remains to be see if they will be accurate. With Metcalf now tied to Seattle for the next 4 seasons the team will look to find him a young, franchise QB to get him the ball. This deal was fair market price for Metcalf while also not pricing out the Seahawks in the future.
