Carlson has 8 goals and 13 assists in 30 games played for the Capitals this season, and the Capitals will certainly hope to get him back in the line up as soon as he is healthy considering he is the #1 guy on defense.

Carlson has spent every season in the NHL with the Capitals, spanning all the way back to his debut in the 2009-2010 season. He has played 917 games, putting up 614 points.
